St John Ambulance Victoria is committed to promoting the importance of first aid in the community and believes that there is no better place to start than in our schools. Every child should have access to vital first aid knowledge and with the First Aid in Schools program, this is possible.
The First Aid Schools Program is a FREE program providing basic first aid training to school students across all Victoria. In 2019, this was delivered to more than 174,000 Victorian Primary School Students and so far, we have taught more than 1,000,000 children since the program started in 2013.
Below are teacher resources that have been designed by St John Ambulance Australia as a follow up to the class teaching session. These enable you to revise the First Aid in Schools course and continue raising the awareness of personal first aid with your students as part of your own curriculum.
