Unique Student Identifier (USI)

St John First Aid Training courses are part of the national database within Vocational Education and Training. Participants completing any Nationally Recognised training with St John will be able to get their results added to the national database, as long as they have a valid USI.

What is a USI?

A USI is a reference number, linked to the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Data Collection. It means an individual’s nationally recognised training and qualifications gained anywhere in Australia, from different training organisations, will be kept all together.

What to do once you have a USI

Once you have received your USI number you will need to record it with us via your Student Readiness Page.

A USI is considered a private document. Therefore we recommend you register it yourself and treat it as a private ID.

If you have any questions, or are unsure of the process, at St John we will be more than happy to help; however we would need you to confirm you understand and consent that we access your number in order to help you complete the process.

If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team (available Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm).
