Each year approximately 50,000 burns related hospital admissions occur in Australia – over 1,000 of these are children in Victoria, with children aged 0-4 years at greatest risk. When you think of burn and scald injuries, most likely the first thing that comes to mind is sunburn, however this is just one of the many types of injuries that occur.

In 2022, St John Vic achieved significant milestones in our training programs, with the most ever students trained in our history.
