World First Aid Day

Free Female only CPR classes

One Day Only This World First Aid Day - Saturday 9th September 2023

Why Are We Running Female only CPR classes?

At St John, we know less women than men are trained and confident to do first aid. Our mission is to ensure everyone has access to the information to save a life, so we are looking to change this.

This World First Aid Day, we are working to remove any barriers and close the gap by providing a free and safe space for women to come to a CPR class.

Not all those who identify as female are comfortable completing practical first aid demonstration, such as the recovery position, in a mixed-gender class environment. These classes on World First Aid Day will feature only female trainers and only other female students, removing barriers that might exclude some women from learning vital skills.

Where and When Will Female Only CPR Classes Be Happening?
