As a St John Volunteer in the Communications Division, you will contribute to the community by supporting the delivery of a range of high-quality and professional health care services to deliver on St John’s mission – For the Service of Humanity.

It is important you are aware of the requirements of the application process and the role.

We ask for this information voluntarily - you are under no obligation to provide it. Any findings of guilt or convictions recorded in any police check or working with children check will be considered in line with the requirements and responsibilities of this role.


We require details of two professional referees to be contacts for reference checks as part of your volunteer application process. By providing your referee contact details, you agree that they will be contacted and available during ordinary business hours.

Referees must be professional references - not character references. This can include, but is not limited to current or past employers, colleagues, coach, tutor, teacher, mentor.
