Terms and Conditions

• The competition is open to residents 18+ residing in Victoria, Australia except for St John Ambulance (Vic) employees, all contractors, competitors and families or anyone directly connected with the organisation, and operators of its brands and concessions.
• The Grand prize consists of 1 St John P3 Semi-automatic pocket Defibrillator
• Winner of the St John P3 Defibrillator will be chosen at random after the conclusion of the Workplace Health and Safety Show. The winner will be chosen using the details provided through the Pick a Pocket game form and the Event lead scanner.
• The prize winner will be chosen, announced and awarded once the St John P3 Defibrillator is available for purchase in Victoria.
• The Grand prize winner will need to provide email address, contact phone number and address as instructed at the time of being announced as our winner. Winners will be notified using these details.
• Only one entry per person will be accepted. In the event of multiple entries being received from the same person, only one will be accepted.
• No purchase is necessary. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the competition, including in relation to the use of the internet.
• We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
• The grand prize Defibrillator winner will be responsible for the installation, accessories for the defibrillator and ongoing defibrillator maintenance and any associated costs.
• The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize from the date that they are announced as a winner. After this time, we reserve the right to select a new winner.
• The decisions of the promoter are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute the prize for a prize of equal or higher value and/or specifications, as determined by the Promoter.
• By taking part in this competition, all entrants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this competition.
• Personal information collected by St John is stored on various secure internal databases and physical documentation is stored securely on site at St John’s Head Office and then archived to a secure third party archive service.
• St John collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information for the purposes of providing its services, conducting its business and communicating with you. This includes marketing and sale of first aid and similar products including dealing with requests from customers for the purchase of first aid and similar products.

• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Workplace Health and Safety Show or National Media. You are providing your information to St John Ambulance (Vic) and not Workplace Health and Safety Show or National Media. By participating in this competition you agree to a complete release of Workplace Health and Safety Show or National Media from any claims.
• The promoter does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed. For example, as a result of network, system development, computer or telecommunications failures or fault of any kind - including any hardware, programming code, databases or software used in the competition.
