The Lord Vestey - visits St John Ambulance Victoria

The Lord Vestey, Chairman St John Eye Hospital, Jerusalem is in Australia and will be visiting St John Ambulance State Office.

He is visiting Australia to share the St John Ambulance 125th Anniversary Icon. The Icon has been carved from a piece of Jerusalem stone that is a symbol of the hospital’s charitable works and is also a call for aid.

He will be talking about his work with the St John eye hospital in Jerusalem and also presenting Eye Care Proficiency Badges to St John Cadets.

The Anniversary Icon is travelling on a journey to all the St John jurisdictions throughout the world. It has already travelled to Acre, Malta and London and in Australia will visit Melbourne and Sydney.
